Are robots evil ( YES)

Hello I'm back from school holidays.

Well its a new term, you know that means. New PBL topic. our driving question in 'what will the future ask of us'. This means like what is the worlds problems, like global warming and sickness, Pollution, animal cruelty, over populated with humans, poverty and  so so so many more. We our learning all about the world problems and ideas on how we are going to fix them. What must be fix first like global warming and the deforestation, health, greenhouse gases and a lot more.


Now you may be wondering why is the title about robots. Well robots are steeling our jobs all ready, if robots take over most of the job there is no use for humans any more, I mean we won't have to do anything to earn money. I mean us humans are all ways looking for the short cut. We are becoming more lazy every year. We use them to work faster and do our biting, we are losing our patience. I say we should be making things to help us with our world problems not to do our dirty and boring work that we don't want to do. I don't know about you but I don't want robots to help us. We can do it on our own if we really try.

Going live

Hello everyone. 

Here's an update of how our PBL showcase went. If you read my invitation one you would know that the year seven and eights of St Francis of Assisi went live. Talking, podcasting poetry and drama. As you hopefully all know that I was doing a talk. Our things were based on discrimination. I chose to do sexism. For going live all I had to say was my Ted talk to a camera and audience. So to be honest is was easy. Wasn’t as hard as I thought. A bit nerve racking.

Hello every one today I want to share some art with you all that I have been  working on. I made a portrait of myself. We had to make it on google drawings we also had a tutorial to help us. To be honest it was quite fun, seeing it coming together, although it looked weird at some times. But here it is.

Hello everybody 

Today I will talk about a task that the teacher has set us to do. We had this thing called bingo card. It is where we do all of these tasks. One of the tasks that I want to share with you guys today is the fitness one. We had to make up our own fitness routine, have a look.

Me again, I know. I'm going to hit you guys with another post about reading. This other book I was reading in our reading workshop, was about global warming. Now before you click away thinking global warming doesn't exist or if you have heard of it so many times. Think about the polar bears and huge amounts of glaciers that are falling, where the polar bears live and loss of ice. The ice and glaciers melt then it adds more water to our world. You may think that is good. No. More water means huge waves, huge waves means loss of land as in covered underwater( Lots of us die ). The whole world will be turned into a furnace. There are too many bad gases around the world that are letting out like cars and fires, hospitals . ( Not the gross one. ewww no. ) Green houses gases are probably  the worst that comes from farms. Global warming is already happening and going to happen but we can slow it down by, planting more trees having electric cars, less farmland. By the way don’t kill animals that are in danger or at the brink of extinction because if they go extinct they're never coming back. ( Just so you know) ( If all most of the animals go were basically dead ) If global warming is going to be much worse, for animals and us. So that is what I read from my book. ( It is true. )

WINTER SPORT HOW FUN.

Playing in the freezing cold every Thursday in the afternoon. With a top, shorts and socks. 

For winter sport we had a choice of what to play out of: Rugby, Hockey, Football ( Or some of you guys might refer to it as soccer. ) and Netball. Of course I picked to play football. We had to have a trial to see what team we would be in. So we get to play each other and the teacher watches us and decides what team. A,B or C. A is the highest, C well you get to play, let's just say that. I got put in B with one of my friends. ( Gosh she had never played before and was she good) ( I will take some of the credit) (: I’m happy that I got in the B because it's my level. I was in the A’s  a couple of years ago and it was hard, our team got thrashed. But the team I’m on is good. We've won two of our games and coming close, sometimes. But seriously it is very cold some days.

What, where, how and why. What is Dianna Isaac, well that is so so easy to answer. It is where older people live. (There I have answered two questions.) There's no way I can answer how. We literally walk to the place. Why, how this question is good. Well everyone in the year seven and eights have a turn going down. We get to choose what to do. Games, balloon sport, art, cooking. ( There are probably more but I’ve gone blank ) I chose games, we got to play bingo, if you won you got a prize. It was really fun. They were so kind that they let everyone get chocolate. Even me who never won. ( The prize was chocolate by the way ) Dianna Isaac was so fun, especially speaking to the people there, who have seen the world change so much in front of their eyes.
