Cross Country 2018

Cross Country

Today we did Cross Country the 3 of May.
Our school walked down to Walter Park, to do the cross country.

My year group was the forth group to run. We had to run three laps around the park. When it my year group to go we lined up getting ready to run. When it started every one sprinted, as I went straight into a jog. I saw one of my friends at the front in the lead, I was cumming close to last soon I passed a lot of people.

My friend that was in the lead sadly she went to fast for her pace and slowed down. in the first minute or two I was cumming fifth, I was trying to over come the fourth place I was very close to caching up to her. Sometimes she would slow down and I would be in front of her for a second then she would come back in front of me.

On the second lap I went in front of her I kept up my pace half way on the second lap I looked back to see if anyone was close behind me, no one was. I felt relived, now that I was cumming forth, not far up ahead I saw a few more people near they end of lap two and going on to there third.

On the third lap I started to catch up to them more, I passed one person which means I was cumming third place. When it was close to the end, I saw the person that was cumming second, I was almost out of breath. She finished about 30 seconds or 20 maybe even 15 seconds before me. When I was at they end I sprinted just to make shore no one was behind me. When I sprinted it was a light sprint because I was so tied.

Have you done Cross Country?
Are you a fast runner?
If you have done Cross Country what place did you come?

Since I came third in Cross Country I will be going to Zones and I will have to do more training. I hope I won't be sick on that day :)

Who are the arrows pointing at ?
