Team building challenges.

At the first week back at school we did team building. To help us to work together as a team. There are all different tasks, that we do in that week.

The first task, we were given to do was to make a stretcher to hold five big books and to balance a cup of water on top. The things we had to make the stretcher, out of was, two full pieces of newspaper, and  one metre of tape. I was put in a group of five people, we made the stretcher have a stet base and then we made some handles and, add a few more bits and pieces. Then when the moment came for the test, WE DID IT. So that was the first task for that day. 

The second day we had to make a paper chain as long as we could. Our supplies were one big piece of paper and one metre of tape, and in a group of five. I was doing cutting the paper up in to strips. Then before I knew it there was only tow mints left, so my team had to quickly do it but wen we were lining them up ours broke in half sow we quickly put it together, and we came second or third. 

The third day, the group had to do cup stacking with using a rubber band tied to string, so we had to yous it to grab the cups. Then we had to stack the in like a tower. Then we were the last ones to do it, then we had to stack the cup normally, and when we had finished, we shouted it out so loud then every one stared to laugh, at us because we were last.

The fourth day the last day for the task, and this task was, we had to make a tower of  marshmallow for the base of pasta sticks. That's what we had to make it out of. We made a good base then we found it hared to build it up. Wen time was ruining out of time we put a small piece of pastier sticks on the top.  Then it fell but wen the teachers measured it. We came third.

So that was haw the first week went. I hope you in joyed it.

This piece of writing, is from a work shop, we were playing the card game, which is called Game Of Awesome, and we got to pick a card that we wanted to write about.

Unstoppable The Prime Minister

The day I wanted to be Prime Minister was a bust. I just got one One! One! vote for me and that was my Mum. Why I didn’t get one from my Dad was because he had died a year ago. Now the so called Mr Ped What. Has the job, and now he is making these silly rules, like cut down the trees and no pets because I’m allergic to them. Give me all your money and much more I don't want to mention. But I’m a rule breaker a have a dog a cat and a lot more pets than you can imagine, I have a pot plant tree and $300 money. This is what I think of the new Prime Minister. UNSTOPPABLE !

My Treasure

In PBL we have had to figure  ut what our family treasure is and find out on it like who had it first, how old it is and how it is special.

          My Family treasure

My Family treasure Is an old bear and a money box and a chair all together. It comes from my Dad's Mum side. The teddy bear is from my great great grandparents and also the money box. The teddy bear is about 90 years old! And the money box is about 100 Year's old. The chair  is my Nana's when she was little. And now she has the money box and the teddy bear and her chair. She probably won't hand it down for awhile because my cousins were throwing the teddy bear around and then it got rips in its leg and then she had to sew it up.

Here is my family treasure.
